Aurinko Services / Helkan Cargo Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Aurinko Services and Helkan Cargo website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

2. Description of Service

Aurinko Services Oy (Finland) and Helkan Cargo (Pvt) Ltd (Sri Lanka) provide courier, moving, and cleaning services including but not limited to:

  • Door-to-door courier services between Sri Lanka and Europe
  • Air and sea cargo services
  • Moving services within Finland
  • Final cleaning services

3. User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Ensuring packages comply with local and international laws
  • Properly packaging items for shipment
  • Payment for services rendered

4. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited for shipment:

  • Illegal substances and drugs
  • Weapons and ammunition
  • Perishable foods
  • Flammable materials
  • Hazardous chemicals
  • Live animals
  • Cash and negotiable instruments

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in EUR or LKR and include standard services. Additional charges may apply for:

  • Customs duties and taxes
  • Additional insurance
  • Special handling requirements
  • Remote area deliveries

6. Liability and Insurance

Standard liability coverage is provided for all shipments. Additional insurance can be purchased. We are not liable for:

  • Acts of God or natural disasters
  • Government actions or customs delays
  • Improperly packaged items
  • Prohibited items

7. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations can be made:

  • Free of charge if cancelled 24 hours before scheduled pickup
  • 50% refund if cancelled less than 24 hours before pickup
  • No refund after pickup has occurred
